First stop at the Michael Kors in the outlet near me! I normally actually am not a huge MK fan, just because some of the stuff is too flashy to be chic (IMO) and because I have just seen hordes of women my age wearing it. But this dark gray bag just took all that negativity against MK away. The leather is actually not the normal kind of leather but it is actually a reinforced leather that is obviously, to the touch, a much sturdier version from the normal kind. Because I feel as a college student now I should have my own durable purse I went on a whim and bought it.
On the way to the register the row of $100 wallets just caught my eye. I actually read somewhere that the aisles/counters nearby the register or next to the line waiting for the register are actually put there as "impulse buys"/"traps" and I am ashamed (not really) to say that I fell for it. I just love love love the simplicity and chicness of the navy blue and gold plate. It isn't too flashy as to say "HEY I AM WEARING NAME BRAND STUFF" but it is nicely made so that even at the glance the wallet does not look cheap or ill made.
While looking for new bedsheets at TJ MAXX, which is amazing btw, I just happened to wander into the purse section and fell in love with this dark camel brown (it is way darker in person) purse. It's by a brand MMS, which I have never heard of, but the leather is pretty sturdy and in my opinion it does not look like it would be $35 (but it was!). I was incredibly happy with this purchase because of how quality the bag was even at a forever21 price!
I have been lusting for a nice lucite clutch for a while now but the $200 price tags that came along with just a trendy piece threw me off. I saw a really nice $90 one at mnologie but I totally forgot about buying it and so when I saw this at forever21 for I think around $20 I jumped. Granted it is not as beautiful as the $90 one (which I am still debating over getting or not) but I figured because it is such a trendy piece and trends tend to come and go I would settle for this. When worn it actually looks pretty nice and the gold chain does not look cheap. The plastic cover does tend to scratch easily however!
