Right off the bat when I pull out the wand there's a lo of goop/extra mascara that should be wiped off before applying but honestly that isn't that big of a deal to me. The wand is HUGE and as you can see has a slight curve to it. In my experience I actually do like mascara wands with curves in them because it helps push your eyelashes up which my straight lashes desperately need.

As much mascara as I could put on before clumping started

On the right: too much mascara so it formed clumps (~4 coats)

Honestly though, I love the way the mascara on my left eye looks. It has nice length, volume, separation, AND curl! Which is great especially for not having curled my eyelashes before putting this mascara on. And on the right this is an easy fix- just use an eyelash brush or a mascara/mascara wand that is plastic and has lots and lots of bristles to comb out any clumps (ie: Benefit's They're Real or Covergirl's lash blast) and the clumps will come on out.
Final Verdict: I actually really like this mascara especially for how cheap it is!! I paid around $5 for this but I have heard it is sold for cheaper in some places. I am personally a huge fan of very big and very out there lashes but if you aren't just don't pile on as many coats and I did and make sure you comb out any clumps than may occur. Throughout the day however there was some smudging so I would suggest going over this mascara with a waterproof formula to minimize smudging. Not fall out though which is great!
